Youth Offerings

We offer a wide range of youth programming through out the year spanning from after school programs, to summer camps and 1:1 mentorship and instruction. Our goal is to make our programming as accessible as possible to anyone who wants to participate, and provide a safe, fun environment for your rider to foster self-confidence and growth, all while having fun with their friends and riding their bike.

Spring & Fall

Every fall and spring we offer 8 week long after school sessions for kids grades 1-10. We explore trails around Durango and incorporate interpersonal and social growth opportunities into our practices! Our older riders have opportunities to help out as co-coaches and mentors for our younger groups.

Summer

We offer week long day camps throughout the summer that include biking, arts & crafts, water time, and a general fun time exploring Durango on our bikes! We offer camps for rising 1st graders through exiting 10th graders, as well as opportunities for older kids to co-coach and mentor for younger groups.
Summer Camps

1:1

We have coaches and mentors available to work 1:1 with kids who may not be ready to join groups, or could benefit from a little extra instruction or guidance. Our coaches come from all walks of life in Durango, and if you have a blooming scientist, artist, or community driver on your hands, we probably have a coach who gets it and can meet them where they're at.

Beyond Bikes

Beyond Bikes is a 7.5 month long cohort of Middle/High School girls who would like to play a more active role in both their local community and regional community through service projects, co-intentional bike experiences with other bike programs, long-term goal and objective setting processes, and fostering connections within the bike community with the intention to grow and problem solve access and public lands use implications. The point of this cohort is to learn about our community, and explore avenues to make lasting change in multiple facets of our lives and community through facilitating experiences that help our participants make connections with things they experience in their day to day lives.

4-week Series

Spring, summer, and fall, we offer 4 week long series where we'll gather one day a week and learn and practice new skills. You can attend all 4, or just the ones focused on skills you know you want to build. Beginner-Intermediate offerings available.

Pop-Up Clinics

Through out the season, we'll host women's pop-up clinics around town, as well as at Purg to work on more technical skills. These clinics are great opportunities for women looking to advance their skills on downhill terrain.

Weekend Trips

That's right, the time has come. With our owner Tina living up in Fruita, we figured it was about time we started hosting weekend bike trips for the adventurous at heart. Learn how to manage new terrain, explore new places, and have a fun weekend with a group of slaydies on the same mission as you: ride your bike, and have a great time!

Program   Development

Learn about our curriculum

Our program development offering is all about helping you implement our curriculum in a way that best serves your progam. After having several schools and bike organizations reach out, we realized we had something that was valuable to more than just our community. Let's partner up, and get the bike program of your dreams up and running.
