Women's Sessions
Skill building happens at all ages and biking backgrounds. Every Pedal MTB offers sessions for different skill levels where we learn, practice and ride together and become stronger and more confident on and off the bike.
Spring 2023 Women's Series
Grab your adventure partner and join us for a fun Skills Series! This is a four week series, focusing on different skills each week. You can attend all four sessions or just drop in for one.
We will have BICP and PMBIA certified coaches on hand to accommodate a beginner to advanced rider range. Groups will meet at a different trailhead each week to work on a specific skill.
Series is April 17th thru May 9th, 2023. Options are Monday mornings from 10AM- 12PM or Tuesday evenings from 5:30PM- 7:30PM.
Week One:
Week of April 17th
Back to Basics. Foundations for stance and balance, braking, cornering, dynamic riding.
Great for beginners and intermediate riders as well. There is a wide range of basics for any skill level. A strong foundation is key to taking your riding to the next level.
Week Two:
Week of April 24th
Switchbacks/High Speed Cornering. For the beginners we will continue to focus on cornering basics and for the intermediate riders we will build on that with switchbacks up and down as well as high speed cornering and some advanced braking techniques. Cornering is the skill work that never ends, so let's get rolling!
Week Three:
Week of May 1st
Wheel lifts/Manuals/drops. Whether you are just learning how to get those wheels in the air or already getting playful on the trail, learning the many ways to get off the ground both with and without speed are sure to bring more smiles and ease to your ride.
Week Four:
Week of May 8th
Technical descending and an all-skill recap ride. Ladies Choice. We will answer any lingering questions about the skills covered and then put it all together for a celebratory last ride of the series! Luckily bike season is just getting started!
